In 2009, I started looking at the Sun- it was amazing Sungazing jurney.
Not by accident. Not recklessly. I followed the HRM method — a structured protocol developed by Hira Ratan Manek — starting with 10 seconds on the first day and increasing by 10 seconds each day, gazing only during the safe hours of sunrise and sunset when UV radiation is near zero.
What I expected: maybe better mood, maybe some vitamin D, maybe nothing.
What I got: prophecies, Third Eye activation, pineal gland awakening, and the beginning of a Kundalini process that would fully erupt 16 years later in 2025.

But sungazing is not about “eating sunlight.” At its core, it is about activating the pineal gland — the Third Eye — through the direct reception of solar photons via the optic nerve.
But Sungazing goes far beyond history, religion, or even modern protocols.

This is the method I followed. It is structured, gradual, and designed for safety.
Prerequisites:
- Timing: ONLY during the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset. NEVER during midday. Check the UV index — it should be below 2.
- Footing: Stand barefoot on natural ground — earth, sand, dirt. Not concrete. Not grass (some traditions say grass drains energy). The earth connection is essential.
- Eyes: Remove glasses and sunglasses. Contact lenses are generally acceptable. Never gaze through windows.
The Progression:
Day 1: Look at the sun for 10 seconds. That’s it. Then close your eyes and observe the afterimage.
Each subsequent day: Add 10 seconds. Day 2 = 20 seconds. Day 10 = 100 seconds. Day 30 = 5 minutes.
This continues for approximately 9 months until you reach 44 minutes.
Phase 1: Days 1–90 (10 seconds to 15 minutes)
This is the mental healing phase. The solar energy enters through the eyes, travels the optic nerve, and begins to charge the hypothalamus and surrounding brain structures.
During this phase, you may notice:
- Reduction in anxiety and worry
- More stable mood
- Increased confidence and inner calm
- Vivid dreams becoming more frequent
- The beginning of pressure sensations in the forehead (Ajna region)
Phase 2: Days 91–180 (15 to 30 minutes)
This is the physical healing phase. The body begins to absorb the full spectrum of solar prana (life force energy) through the color rays of the sun.
During this phase:
- Physical ailments may begin to improve
- Appetite naturally decreases
- Energy levels increase
- Sleep quality improves dramatically
- The pineal gland begins to decalcify and activate
Phase 3: Days 181–270 (30 to 44 minutes)
This is the spiritual activation phase. This is where things get extraordinary.
During this phase:
- Hunger may significantly decrease or vanish around 35 minutes
- Intuition sharpens dramatically
- The Third Eye begins to open
- Prophetic visions, synchronicities, and direct knowing become common
- The pineal gland is fully stimulated
After 44 Minutes:
Once you reach the maximum, you begin to reduce by 1 minute per day back down to 15 minutes, then maintain that for a year. After that, only a few minutes daily plus barefoot walking for 45 minutes keeps the system charged.

What Happened to Me: Diary Excerpts
I started the practice on February 18, 2009. I kept a journal. Here are the key moments.
Day 32 (March 22, 2009) — 5 minutes 20 seconds
After gazing for 5 minutes and 20 seconds at sunrise, I felt intense pressure in my head — at the crown, near the temples, and at the forehead.
And then it happened.
I saw things about our future. Clearly, like a film. I had to write them down because I felt I would “burst” if I didn’t. The information came as direct knowing — not thoughts, not imagination. Prophetic downloads that arrived through what I would later understand was the Ajna chakra receiving transmission.
This was 32 days in. Just over 5 minutes of sungazing. And the pineal gland was already responding.
Around Day 228 (~38 minutes)
After months of gradual progression, I reached approximately 38 minutes of sungazing. This is when the pineal gland fully activated.
I felt it physically — a strong pressure at the center of the forehead, and then something I can only describe as the sensation of melatonin being secreted. A beautiful, indescribable feeling. Warm. Blissful. As if a gland deep inside my head was releasing liquid light.
But I wasn’t ready.
I had too many thoughts. Too much confusion. I was young. I didn’t have a framework to understand what was happening to me. And so I did something that would take 16 years to reverse: I asked the Kundalini to stop.
And it listened.
2025: The Return
In October 2025, without seeking it, the Kundalini reawakened on its own. This time it was decisive. It pushed through every chakra, every blockage, every resistance. Third Eye activation, Crown opening, Dark Night of the Soul, Ego Death, Turiya — everything unfolded in weeks.
The seed that sungazing planted in 2009 had been growing underground for 16 years. And when it finally broke through the surface, it shattered everything.
How Sungazing Works: The Pineal Connection
The pineal gland — called the epiphysis in medical terminology — is a small, pine cone-shaped endocrine gland located at the center of the brain.
In spiritual traditions, it is known as the Third Eye, the Seat of the Soul (Descartes), or the Ajna chakra (Hinduism).

The sun has been demonized. “Don’t look at the sun. You’ll go blind.” And yet, every ancient civilization on Earth built their entire spiritual practice around it.

I looked at the sun for 9 months in 2009. It took 16 years for the full results to manifest.

If I could go back and tell my 2009 self one thing, it would be this:
